Ukraine is to experience a significant increase of new TV services, with up to two DTH (direct-to-home) platforms and a DTT (digital terrestrial television) operation expected to start this automn. On August 5 General Satellite (Russia) announced that it is considering to enter Ukrainian market. They are planning to expand several DTH (direct-to-home) projects around the world, and they see Ukraine as a good place to start from.
